Probiotic, raw, vegan, and Paleo-friendly. You will be fully active in creating the fermentation (wear clothes you don't mind preparing food in), and take home a jar seasoned withyour own customized spice mixture. Bring any of the following items that you can: cutting board, large knife, kitchen scissors, large bowl or tub, 500mL wide-mouth jar and lid. Instructor: Alyssa Kohlman.

Registration: Strathcona Community Centre #36506 (604.713.1838 or Valentine Veggie or in person). Registration is "pay what you can" with a suggested fee of $20, including an $8 materials fee. If not paying the suggested fee, please register over the phone or in person. Pre-register w/SCC by 4:30 pm, Feb 7 or online by 3 pm, Feb 8.

(50% Subsidies on the non-materials portion of the workshop fee are also available to low income residents of Vancouver with a Leisure Access Card. For details on how to apply, please contact Strathcona CC or Leisure Access Program.)
