Permaculture mapping is a design process which reconnects us with the earth.
This connection is built through deepening our understanding
of all living and non-living components in the eco-systems of our homes and communities.
Through mapping, we are able to interact with our surroundings more efficiently,
benefiting our health, families, gardens, and neighbourhoods.
This hands-on workshop guides participants through the process of mapping the flora, fauna, wind, water, and sun sectors on an urban property in Coquitlam.
Participants will come out of this workshop with a comprehensive understanding of permaculture mapping techniques and will have the chance to complete a property sketch to take home.
Students will receive online resources and readings.
Limited class size.
Exact dates TBA. To be held on two consecutive Saturday afternoons.
All ages and experience levels welcome. Organic meals provided on both days.
