Event Description

Permaculture is a philosophy and a framework for re-structuring how we relate to the ecosystems we live in and the people we share them with. Combining design fundamentals with hands-on skills, this course links the how and the why of regenerating urban spaces. Upon completion, participants receive the internationally recognized Permaculture Designer Certificate.

Course Highlights

  • Fundamentals of ecological community design
  • Urban farming and regeneration of urban ecology
  • Composting, soil building and bioremediation
  • Water capture and conservation
  • Natural building and retrofitting of urban spaces
  • Social permaculture and community engagement

Erin Innes is a Permaculture practitioner and environmental justice activist. A dynamic instructor grounded in experiential learning, with a background in urban farming and natural building, Erin brings a diverse set of hands-on skills and a rich understanding of our temperate rainforest ecosystem and how to live abundantly with it.

I would have seriously considered it, but am away on vacation during that time.  Please keep me on the list for future offerings.
