Make the most of the upcoming strawberry season by learning how to preserve them, so you can enjoy homemade strawberry jam all year long! Join our fabulous canning instructor Melody Kurt and learn how to make delicious strawberry jam. The workshop fee is $5 and includes all ingredients, plus a jar to take home as well!
In this children's program this week we will be having our own fun with strawberries by making fresh strawberry spread. Snack time will be particulary delicious this week!
About this program: Hastings Seasons of Food regularly meets up weekly - each week features a different theme centering on gardening, cooking or preserving. $5/session and childminding included!
Morning sessions run 9:30am - Noon
Evening sessions run 6 - 8:30pm.
