Event Description

In a time of deepening planetary crisis, what enables us to find resilience, courage, and empowerment? How can we open our hearts to ourselves, our human community, and all planetary life, while acknowledging the gravity of our situation?

Through experiential, nature-based and contemplative practices, participants will be supported by experienced facilitators to deepen their commitments to a just and resilient world and bring their unique gifts into the service of life.

This workshop integrates diverse influences into the Work That Reconnects, a pioneering method of group and individual process developed by eco-philosopher and activist Joanna Macy and practiced internationally.

The facilitators:
Olive Dempsey works at the intersection of
leadership and engagement for social and
environmental change, as a facilitator, engagement
strategist, and coach.

Maggie Ziegler brings a passionate commitment
to these practices as well as decades of experience
as a facilitator, educator, psychotherapist, and
community activist.

Cost: $175
