An Afternoon at the Library: Lots More than Books!
As anyone who's ever gardened before knows, pests can be sometimes a real problem in the garden (and can be particularly discouraging if you're a new gardener). In this Westside Neighbourhood Food Network workshop with Karen Ageson from Farmers on 57th, you'll learn various techniques for minimizing and eliminating harmful pests from your food garden. We'll have the Village Vancouver Kits branch VPL community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds. This workshop is part of the Westside Food Festival (July 5-August 9).
