This drop-in is full. If there is interest, Ross and Laura Lee will try to schedule another one soon.
Come enjoy a meal created and hosted by a Kits neighbour.
Tonight's meal will be hosted by Ross and Laura Lee near Cornwall and Laburnum. Open to anyone, the drop-ins are especially aimed at neighbours living close to the host (within 2 or 3 blocks).
This is one in a series of several dinners taking place between July 2012 and February 2013, and is supported by a Green Neighbourhood Small Grant from the Vancouver Foundation (administered by Kits Neighbourhood House), to increase awareness of our food sources and promote community connections.
They’re called Drop-in “Spaghetti” nights, because many of the ones we've held in the past have involved serving spaghetti. Each meal, however, is different, depending on what the host wants to serve.
Tonight's meal will offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
The source of the ingredients will be tracked, and we'll collate how local our eating habits are at a community- wide Drop-in "Spaghetti" gathering on February 1st.
Limited to 12 participants.
Exact address will be emailed a couple days before the dinner to everyone who RSVP's here or to ross@villagevancouver.ca.
