Event Description

Become a movie-maker in an afternoon! Learn how you can use the technology you already have, even your smartphone. This workshop will give you the skills and guidance to start telling creative, thoughtful, entertaining and fun stories just like the professionals.
We are offering FREE workshops to support people to make videos for the Kits House Project for Awesome Video Challenge. You can attend one workshop or all three.
Dates: Sundays November 11th, 18th & 25th
Times: 1:00-3:00pm (workshop) 3:00-4:00pm (optional coffee and chat)
Location: play in our lives be looking behind the curtain.
ALL AGES AND SKILLS WELCOME.
George Orr – Workshop Facilitator
George Orr is an award-winning documentary film-maker whose professional career has focused on finding and telling compelling stories. From his beginning as a working journalist, and then as an educator who has taught the majority of broadcast and video-journalists in British Columbia, George has become a proponent of backpack journalism. With his training and guidance, you will gain the insight needed to use the modern technology to tell stories that will draw in the viewer, and entertain and engage your community.
