Event Description

Getting to know your neighbours can be a lot of fun
and can also be a powerful way of responding to
issues of climate change and depletion of finite natural
resources. This session will discuss how to create and
sustain a neighbourhood village.

He is a member of the Vancouver Food Policy Council and the Westside Food Security Collaborative, and serves on the NOW BC Co‐op, Car Free Vancouver, SPEC, and IMAPON boards, SFU’s Local Food Project advisory committee, and the Vancouver Peak Oil Executive.

Co-sponsored by Langara College Continuing Studies and Village Vancouver. Offered as part of Langara's Summer School on Building Community.
