Comment by Jocelynn Rodrigues on February 11, 2013 at 12:22pm I agree - AND if it's in a more public space it raises awareness to others and gets people talking! :)
Comment by Malin Hansen on February 3, 2013 at 9:18pm Yes, I agree Mary! Actually, I spoke to Julie who works for the Kits House at the last potluck and she will try to see if Kits House can host the recycling. We will investigate further and see what happens:)
Comment by Mary Bennett on February 3, 2013 at 8:56pm I'm too shy to ask, but... what about seeing if the Wired Monk coffee shop (or some other) would host and let us put the stuff out front for pick up (or around back or whatever)... There might be a better coffee shop - Arbutus? Common Grounds? Feels like it would be great to have some public space that's regular. Maybe the Kits Library? Why not, eh? They've got a nice courtyard there...

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.
