Event Description
Lee Brain, a Village Vancouver member who currently resides in Prince Rupert where he helped to co-found the local Transition Town Initiative, has garnered significant attention throughout North America with his stirring testimony on February 18th at the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline hearings. Lee speaks powerfully about insights gained as the son of a senior oil executive, and ends his testimony with a moving call for “a full scale, mass mobilized transition process off the fossil fuel economy”, with “the mobilization power comparable to the proportions of the Manhattan project, and then some.”

Hi Leslie. I'd love to come, and may nip out of the World Water Week Symposium at ECUAD to do so - the symposium is part of "Downstream", Rita Wong's project.
Watched/heard Lee Brian's talk on Youtube at the time. Brilliant!
