9th April 6.00-7.30pm Guerrilla Gardening Volunteers Gathering in Kitsilano on 2nd Avenue and Balaclava.

For all those curious in getting involved I guerrilla gardening I hope you will be interested in attending a gathering to discuss potential locations for guerrillas gardening throughout Vancouver and some possible fun events throughout the year. We can plan tactics which can be used for the planting and also see if any groups can be organised to manage specific areas of planting. Resources and potential donors of plants and seeds can also be discussed.

I have recently taken on the role of guerrilla gardening coordinator for the Vancouver Public Space Network and have yet to meet the volunteers. It would be great to meet up socially and get to know everybody who is interested in greening the streets. I have some exciting ideas for activities this year and will shortly be posting the first seed bomb workshop date.
