Event Description
Jordan will be addressing the topic of money: how money in its current form is inextricably tied up with the unsustainable growth paradigm that exists today, and ways in which it can be re-invented for a steady state, lower-energy and more economically and ecologically just world. In order to make this journey, we will explore the concept of what money essentially is and how it comes about, and how it serves as an axiom upon which most of the rest of our economy is based.
We will be meeting up at Tree Coffee near Granville and W Hastings between 7:00-7:15, then heading up to a room in a nearby office that we can use. If you happen to arrive late, please call 778-866-4451 to coordinate getting you into the building.
