Event Description

West End Neighbourhood Food Network presents Carrots, Leeks, and Greens. Grow your own ingredients for a hearty salad outside in a sunny spot, be it balcony or back yard! You will come away with the knowledge to plant, grow, pick, and eat carrots, greens (such as pac choi, beets, lettuce, spinach, swiss chard, and kale) and leeks right now! Bring a description of your growing area including measurements and we'll plan your summer salad! WENFN will have a seed library present - if you come a little early, you can get some free seeds for your garden or swap or donate some seeds. For further information, please contact Ross Moster at ross.wenfn@gmail.com, or visit foodwestend.wordpress.com.
Instructor: Rhiannon Johnson.

For further information, please contact Ross Moster at ross.wenfn@gmail.com, or visit or foodwestend.wordpress.com.

$27. Subsidies: 50% subsidies are available to low income residents of Vancouver with a Leisure Access Card. For details on how to apply, please visit http://vancouver.ca/parks-recreation-culture/leisure-access-card.aspx.

WENFN is sponsored by Gordon Neighbourhood House.
