Event Description

Our second Bike Maintenance Party is happening this month, on
Saturday, May 26th from 3-5pm. This month it will be on Main St., on a Saturday afternoon and we'll BBQ!!! Bring your bike, bring something for the
BBQ and lets have some fun.

Also, many of us have
children, including myself.
Bring them! We'll have chalk and other kids and toys for them to play with. Hurray for kids!

Why is it a party? It's a party because we're just gonna hang out and work on our bikes together (and BBQ). We'll share knowledge, tools, and stories. Bring some snacks and drinks to share, or don't. We'll have a few knowledgeable bike mechanics to help people work on their bikes.

How can you contribute? A) Show up. B) Bring your bike. C) Bring bike tools you're willing to share for the night. D) If you're really fancy, bring a bike stand. E) If you're even fancier, bring some extra bike supplies (tubes, cable, break pads, etc.) to share with others. F) Bring some snacks and a smile.

Transportation

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.

Housing

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.
