Event Description

You are invited to an afternoon of resource sharing and community building hosted by Afeatherway.com.

Come out and meet your neighbours and other Afeatherway members at Volunteer Park in Kitsilano. This will be a family friendly swap event, so bring things to trade, or bring things you would like to give to a good home. Also, think about some of the skills and services that you could potentially trade (ISO or offering), such as music lessons, graphic design, handy person, computer skills, tutoring, gardening, delivery, etc. There will also be a reporter from Fairchild TV News, so this is your chance to become famous if you’d like.

How it will be Set Up
……………………………………………………………………………………………………
When you arrive, check in with Nicolas to receive a name tag where you can also write down skills/ services you offer or are wishing for.

If you would like to trade your items, you can lay them out on the grass or bring a blanket, and we will mingle about to see what everyone has.

There will be one area where free things can be placed. If your items have not been claimed by the time that you would like to leave, please check in with Nicolas prior to leaving them there.

If you would like to participate in a news special about this alternative, moneyless economy, you can talk with the news reporter about afeatherway.com and show off some of the cool trades you have done.

If you plan on bringing items or are in search of a particular item or service, feel free to post to this group to let everyone know in advance :)

We look forward to meeting you all, and doing some cool trades and give-aways :)
